Aligning Values with Entrepreneurial Drive
Alumni Jaren Vande Kieft, ’06 and Chris Williams, ’06 met while earning their MBA at Stritch, and they went on to develop not only a close friendship, but a business partnership that would build upon their Stritch education and their faith. In 2009, they founded Narrow Road Coffee on one guiding principle, to sell high quality coffee and to donate a large portion of the revenue.
Jaren and Chris will be joined by Cardinal Stritch University Dean Peter Holbrook, Ph.D., '84, '95, '08, as they share how they created a business model that balances the triple bottom line by aligning personal values with a business concept to serve others. Attendees will learn first-hand how to incorporate business principles with lessons learned to make a meaningful contribution to the greater good through a business venture. |
